Lego is a special dog, with quite a history. He spent the first 3 years of his life living in Toronto, Canada. In 2007 Lego and his owner, Ann Penner, attended SilkenFest and took home Best Opposite Sex Puppy. When his owner, Ann, passed away he returned to Paul and Karen Sanders at Allagante Silkens. There he quickly found his racing legs and earned his ISWS Field coursing championship, straight racing championship, and oval racing championship.
I met Lego in the fall of 2010 and immediately fell in love with him. It took a while to convince Paul and Karen he needed to come live with me. I'm grateful they finally agreed. Lego introduced me to Lure Coursing and racing. He turned 8 on Nov. 4, 2014. He still runs with joy, but a little less speed. He now has the job of running with the young dogs and teaching them how to run fast and clean.
Lego had all his performance titles when I got him and no conformation titles. So I set a goal to balance the titles on both sides of his name. Lego has been a joy to show and with Jane Taylor's help he won Winners Dog and and an AOM at SilkenFest 2012. Since then he has completed his UKC Grand Championship and taken Best in Specialty Show at Silken Celebration as well as multiple AOMs.
