Moon at 10 weeks at Kumbaya
Moon joined the Winsome family in September of 2013. He caught my eye on a visit to Kumbaya when he was 10 weeks old and thankfully he wasn't spoken for. Thank you Kent for this handsome boy.

And the next time Kent saw Moon was at SF 2014 showing him to Best Puppy in Sweepstakes under judge Hilary Tringham.  Thank you big time Kent!   At the Washington Classic in late June Moon was BOB, starting his UKC career nicely.  He finished  his UKC Championship in early August.

He went BOB from the puppy class.
Moon had a very special weekend at the Lone Star Classic in Texas in September 2014.  Shown here with Kent Jones is Moon's first BIS in the first UKC show.  He was honored to win the Champion class in all 4 UKC shows.  In the specialty he was awarded Best Sr. Puppy and on to BOS in Sweeps.  Such a wonderful show weekend for a young male.  Moon's last Champion class win to earn his Grand Championship came in November going Best Champion, BOB and Group 1.  Such a typey boy with a wonderful temperament  and a credit to his breeder, Kent Jones of Kumbaya Silkens.
Such a huge surprise!  All I could do was hug Moon as the judge walked up and awarded him the BIS rosette.  That was a full compliment of all the groups and Moon is still just a bit over a year old.  The start of a very rewarding weekend for him.  I think Moon thought we were all crazy.
Hugging in the ring...come on!
Moon's favorite thing is getting and giving a hug.  The photographer caught a moment in the ring at BooFest of Moon asking for his reward.  He was RWD both shows and tried very hard to do his best.  Sure glad judges are busy looking at other dogs so I can give my dogs the minute they so deserve.

During the 2015 season, Moon coursed to all his required placements and is just working on points to finish.  He pointed in Oval and Racing and he's having a ball. 2016 started well with a 3rd place in lure coursing  at SilkenFest 2016.   He is also proud to have been 2nd in the Triathlon at SF.  He just finished his FCH in April.  Now just to continue his march toward his Racing and Oval  titles.
