BISS - Boofest 2013 and 2014 -BOSS Texas Lone Star Classic 2014 - AOM NW Fest 2015
I'm very excited to have acquired Drifter in late 2012 from Cyndi Dell of Morgandell Silken Windhounds. He was a lovely puppy to raise and just looks prettier all the time. He is proving to be a favorite of the judges too. At less than 9 months he breezed to his UKC Championship, two Best Puppy in Show at ISWS specialties, and received his first Champion Class win at the UKC show in conjunction with Silken Celebration's specialty show. At just over a year old, he achieved the unthinkable. Drifter went WD, BOW and on to BISS at BooFest 2013 under judge Lorraine Marchant to finish his ISWS Championship. At the second show, he was moved up to the BOB class and was awarded an AOM- quite the weekend for both of us! I'm honored to have such a standout in a young dog. Pictured below in June of 2014 finishing his GRCH in style taking 4 Champion class wins at the Washington Classic.

Drifter is quite the personality at home too. He has the typical Silken traits of tough, raucous play one minute and is leaning on my leg for love the next. When I had a litter of young puppies, I wondered if he was ready to control his exuberance and be gentle. Ready? Right on. He's been fabulous with all my puppies, and an excellent role model for Moon and TJ.
